Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Artha Insurance LLC aims for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility was a requirement in how the site was built, not an afterthought, and we treat reports of barriers as defects to fix.

What is implemented

• The whole site is operable by keyboard, including the navigation dropdowns (open on click or Enter, close on Escape) and the quote wizard.
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
• Semantic HTML: proper heading order, landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), and a skip-to-content link.
• Every form field has a visible label. Errors are described in words next to the field, announced to screen readers, and never signalled by colour alone.
• Text colour contrast meets or exceeds the AA ratio against its background.
• Animations and smooth scrolling are disabled automatically for users whose systems request reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
• Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function, and the layout adapts to small screens and zoomed viewports.
• Icons are decorative line graphics with text alternatives where they carry meaning; no information is conveyed by an icon alone.

Known limitations, honestly stated

• Carrier portals we link to are built and controlled by the insurance carriers, not by us. Their accessibility varies and we cannot fix them — but we can do anything they do for you by phone.
• Documents produced by insurers, including scanned PDFs of policies and endorsements, sometimes arrive as images without a text layer. On request we will read any document to you, summarize it in plain text, or obtain an accessible version from the carrier where one exists.
• Any third-party widget embedded in the future (for example a map) may not meet the same standard; we will provide the same information in accessible text alongside it.

You never have to use this website

No one is required to use this website to do business with Artha Insurance LLC. Everything the site does can be done another way:

• Quotes, policy questions, and coverage changes — by phone at (469) 815-3491, by email at info@arthainsurance.com, or in person at 12800 WestRidge Blvd, Ste 271, Frisco, Texas 75035.
• Documents and policy paperwork — mailed, emailed, read aloud over the phone, or provided in large print on request, at no charge.
• Certificates of insurance — requested and delivered by phone or email.
• Claims — reported and tracked entirely by phone.
• Billing questions — handled by phone or email.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:30 Central.

This statement reflects a self-assessment against WCAG 2.1 AA using keyboard-only testing, contrast checking, and screen reader spot checks. It has not been independently audited. We will update this statement as the site changes.
